Kyetume Community Based Health Care Programme was incepted by Christian Churches of Kyetume Parish in 1994 to advance initiatives geared towards health and socio-economic development within Kyetume and Mukono District in general in Uganda.

Kyetume CBHCP is a registered non government organization under registration number 5914/3197 and Trustees Incorporation Act number 62478 as a company limited by guarantee by the Registrar of Companies in the Republic of Uganda.
