Lufunve Water Project

The Lufunve water project is being welcomed with open arms in the Kyetume community surrounding the Emma & Greg Resource Center as well as the Health Center. The project was completed in July 2009 and serves the community with two taps; one at the resource center and the other at the health center. The source of the water is a well near the bottom of the hill and pumped up to two 20,000 liter tanks to be redistributed to the two taps in the community.  The community can access the water at the cost of 100 ushs per 20 L jerry can.

The two tanks are pictured here alongside many of Kyetume CBHCP’s supporters.

This is the tap located at the GAIA Counseling & Medical Centre III.
