Kyetume CBHCP has recently begun reaching out to the youth of the community by sponsoring health clubs in two local schools and giving presentations.

At the beginning of each school term, some of the Kyetume CBCH staff members organize and participate in school outreaches to the local schools. The presentation is interactive and covers the topics of Safe Water, Good Hygiene, and Good Sanitation. This term we have been able to add the topic of Proper Nutrition to the list. With the use of visual aids, the students participate in the discussion of what one needs to do to have proper hygiene and good sanitation and the importance of safe water.
